Junior School - The Arts  The Arts comprise an integral part of Rendcomb College Junior School and we have recently been awarded the prestigious Gold Artsmark Award for achieving high standards in Music, Dance, Art & Drama. Art and Design Technology Not only does each pupil partake in art and design technology classes as part of the curriculum but they also have the opportunity to participate in art and craft activities, big arts days as well as the chance to work with visiting artists.  Drama The children have a drama lesson each week and every year they have the opportunity to participate in either an Otters or Junior Nativity play as well as a large school production. Very often, the children are invited to participate in Senior School productions which range from entertaining cameos to well known plays and operas.  Music All children have class music and most participate in individual peripatetic music lessons that range from recorder to guitar, piano, flute, drums, saxophone and voice training. The Junior School has a choir, recorder group and various informal percussion ensembles.  |
