The Old Rendcombian Society ![]() The Old Rendcombian Society has 1,400 members. It helps former pupils to keep in touch by means of an annual Newsletter and a web-site that is regularly updated. The Society also provides an annual Travel Bursary to the value of £1,000; pupils in the fifth form and above submit their applications in January. These are then judged by the committee. The main reunion of the Society is in the summer when the Annual General Meeting is held; there is a simple buffet lunch and a Cricket match. In the winter there are rugby matches and matches against the school for ladies’ and men’s hockey and netball. From time to time, Old Rendcombians talk to the Sixth Form about their careers.
A separate Trust, the Friends of Rendcomb, provides bursaries for pupils who might not otherwise be able to come to Rendcomb.
