not followed the Common Entrance Syllabus, a special examination can be

At 16
For entry into the Sixth Form, all candidates need to have obtained a good
standard at GCSE and provide a full school report. The next Sixth Form Scholarship
interviews will take place in early February 2009.
All candidates are invited to meet the Headmaster, Mr Gerry Holden,
and to provide him with a current school report.
Scholarships are offered at ages 11 (Year 7), 13 (Year 9) and 16 (Sixth
Form)
A number of scholarships (Academic, Art, Music, Performing Art and
Sport) and Forces Scholarships are awarded each year. They are based
on assessment of a pupil's potential and the value that we believe
they will add to the life of our school. All awards are reassessed
annually and are subject to satisfactory academic progress and behaviour.
All cases are judged on their own merits and parents are invited to
discuss their eligibility for a financial award with the Headmaster.
