Curriculum - Sport
 
We have superb facilities for our sport, including spectacular grass pitches, an astroturf, a multi-purpose sports hall, squash courts, a swimming pool and a climbing wall. We also have the space and facilities for clay pigeon shooting, fishing, orienteering and golf. These facilities, in addition to our excellent coaching, have enabled pupils to reach county and national levels in most sports.
  The major games for the Michaelmas term are rugby football for boys and hockey for girls, In the Lent term, most boys play hockey and lacrosse has been recently introduced as the major game for girls although some netball is also played, The major games for the Summer term are cricket for boys and rounders and tennis for girls - athletics and swimming are also a popular activities in this term. For those senior pupils who do not wish to participate in the major game of the term, a diverse programme of alternative games is offered including squash, badminton, volleyball, golf and weights/fitness.
In recent years rugby tours have been undertaken to Canada, Holland, Italy and Spain; hockey tours to Holland and Dublin; and cricket tours to Barbados and Malta.
